Ok, looks like it's a lot easier than I thought. Each month Rite Aid will post what items have rebates for the month. You go and can use coupons for the item also. Save your receipt!! Take it home and enter the numbers online. Then once a month you can request your check which gets mailed out with in 2 weeks. This is a regular check-NOT a Rite Aid check. So the good side it that this is pretty easy the bad is that you put more $$$ OOP but you will get it back. Go here for more info and go here to sign up if you haven't already.
